Our family-run hotel with 500 years of tradition, located in the
listed old town of Kahla, at the foot of the “Leuchtenburg” Castle
and in the immediate neighborhoud of the Saale Cycle Path. The hotel
complex is an integral part of the medieval city, fortifications
dating back to the 15th century, which were modernized to the
standards of a 3-star hotel in 1998. Kahla is located on the
"Classic Route" (Klassikerstraße), amidst beautiful nature, large
forests, ponds, lakes, and historic castles, at the pinnacle of
which stands the queen of the Saale Valley, the “Leuchtenburg”
Castle. We are centrally located near the important Thuringian
cities of Jena, Erfurt, Weimar, Rudolstadt, and Saalfeld.
The 11 double rooms and 2 suites offer the utmost in comfort.
Some are traditionally or rustically furnished, all non-smoking
and equipped with a shower/WC, cosmetic mirror, hairdryer,
flat-screen TV, radio, free Wi-Fi, and telephone.
